Applications

      RVMV-K is used for low-voltage installations, especially for industry, factories, oil refineries, stables, feeding installations(for animals), or where there is a possibility for rodent attack etc. It can also be used for ship installations and generator installations.The cable is UV-resistant and is suited for outdoor use. Conductor insulation is not suitable for direct light exposure. Suitable for the following installations:

 underground networks for low voltage distribution 

outdoor lighting installations

indoor or receiver installations

installations in premises with special characteristics

Overview

      Zhuhai RVMV-K cables, manufactured with steel wire armoured, which provides a huge protection against rodents andmechanical damages, are indicated for transporting and distributing low voltage power. It is recommended for industrialconnections, service connections, internal distribution and outdoor connections and especially in premises with a high risk of fire and explosion like gas stations, petrochemical plants, flammable product storages. At the same time, it can be used in installations such as production plants, agricultural facilities, street lighting and installations in general where the cable issubject to risk of mechanical aggression.

Description: RVMV-K, XLPE Insulated Copper Flexible Power Cable

Conductors: Class 5 bare copper wires in accordance with lEC 60228.

Insulation: Cross-linked polyethylene XLPE

Filler: Non-hygroscopic Material

Amour Bedding: PVC

Metallic Amour: Galvanised steel wire armour   

Outer sheath: Extruded Polyvinyl Chloride PVC

Colour of Sheath: Black    

(other colours available on request)   

Rated Voltage (Uo/U): 600/1000V

Test Voltage: 3.5 kV for 5 minutes

Physical Properties

Maximal operating conductor Temperature: up to 90℃  

Minimum Service Temperature: -40℃  

Short Circuit Temperature(5 seconds maximum duration): 250℃
