Overview

Zhuhai RVFV-K cable is manufactured with steel band, which provides high protection against rodents and mechanical damage, and flexible copper, which makes handling and installation easier; especially suitable for fixed installations that may be subject to mechanical aggression. It is highly recommended for use in installations where the presence of rodents couldimply a threat to the cable (such as warehouses, production plants and agricultural facilities). At the same time, its use is recommended for street lighting installations,they are indicated for transport and distribution of low voltage electricity, and their use is recommended for industrial connections, service connections, internal distribution and outdoor connections. They also can be used in underground networks and permanent installations.

CONSTRUCTION

RVFV-K,CU/XLPE/PVC/DSTA/PVC Low Voltage armoured cables

Description: RVFV-K,XLPE Insulated Copper Flexible Power Cable

Conductors: Class 5 bare copper wires in accordance with lEC 60228.

Insulation:Cross-linked polyethylene XLPE

Filler: Non-hygroscopic Material

Amour Bedding: PVC

Metallic Amour: Double steel tape armour

Outer sheath: Extruded Polyvinyl Chloride PVC

Colour of Sheath: Black

Rated Voltage (Uo/U): 600/1000V

Test Voltage: 3.5 kV for 5 minutes

Physical Properties

Maximal operating conductor Temperature: up to 90℃

Minimum Service Temperature: -40℃

Short Circuit Temperature(5 seconds maximum duration): 250℃
